Marin and Grandma Garwood
Marin got a new toy from mom & dad- a little, well, big interactive Kitchen.. since the other one is a part of Mitch & Griff-Fil-A- this girl needed her own.
Marin figuring out that everyone is singing to her.. she definitely enjoyed being the center of attention.
Marin trying to figure out what to do with her cake..
A girl's got to have new shoes on her birthday!
Opening presents...
OK... now for a quick glimpse back.. 4 years ago.. ahh.. little dark, fuzzy haired griff and sweet mitchy..... time flies.
Aunt Carrie visited from Phoenix to check out the birthday kidd0s- it was a great weekend with lots of playing!
Darth better watch out!
Marin loves the super heros too- Batman was her favorite this day!
OK.. so, On to the party for both Mitchell and Griffin we had at church. It was titled, "Zoo Wars" Griffin's side was decked out in Star Wars decor, and Mitchell's was the zoo theme, of course.
Wookie Cookies- Griff's Dessert!
Mitchell's family party at home. The dino had to jump on the cake and act like he was taking on the candles.
A little Okie Joes.. Just to get everyone hungry.. Hogamaniacs... YUM. enough said.
Griffin's family party at Grandma & Grandpa Garwood's- trying out his new favorite costume of the moment- Clone Trooper.
Awaiting his slice.
The OTHER favorite costume: Chef Griffin, Head chef of Grif-fil-A.
The funny part was that he noticed the real workers at Chic-Fil-A wear red shirts, not fancy white ones like his.. He's SUCH a fun kid!
Griff got the action-figure Barack from Aunt Lisa. He rides in the car with us everywhere.. just hilarious.
Matt with all his little clone troopers.. well, clones anyways.. Who knew he'd look so cute in a little pink dress?
Watch out for the High-Pants dancers! They come out at night- usually in P.J.s.. and love to do the High Pants dance.
Mitch & Griff playing with Mitchell's zoo.. relocated to their bedroom..Mitch is quite the zookeeper already.
The ZOO in all it's glory! This is the ultimate setup that Santa delivered- after working with Great Grandpa Hawley, who made it for him. Each cage is moveable, with bars, windows and everything. He loves rearranging it all- and finding the perfect mix for his zoo. Definitely Mitch's 'toy' of choice- 99% of the time.
Well, Hope you all are doing well. This month has been full of complete emotional roller coaster rides- with Julie looking for a new job- and after 4 weeks, finding a great one that she loves!
Thank you all for support, prayers, friendship, and fun that keeps us all going all the time!
